He has been active in the hobby for several decades and has been involved in the collector car industry for many years. Charlie is the past-president (2004-2007) of the Specialty Vehicle Dealers Association and is active in his community by serving on several Boards. Nick Smith

Nick Smith joined our team as a Specialist bringing a long and varied career's worth of experience in exotic and luxury, classic and vintage cars. With a career that started in London at the age of three with toy cars from Dinky and Matchbox, Nick eventually graduated to a proper professional position in the motorcar field in sales at purveyors of the most incredible classic and exotic automobiles, Symbolic Motors. Initially in Beverly Hills, he was quickly promoted to the Bentley Sales manager at their La Jolla showroom. Strong successes and great experience in both new exotics and classic and vintage motorcars, led to an offer to join the Bentley's flagship dealership as the Bentley and Lamborghini Sales Manager in Beverly Hills, enjoying sales of these franchises plus Rolls-Royce, Aston Martin and Bugatti.

In 2007, Smith's desire to explore a different facet of the industry led him to Bonhams Auctioneers. As a Specialist, he played a key role in the Motorcar Department's successes with sales at Quail Lodge in Carmel, CA for the famed Monterey Classic week of Concours d'Elegance, motor racing and auction events, as well as sales at Concours d'Elegances in Amelia Island, Florida, Greenwich, CT, Los Angeles' Petersen Museum Sale, and the Larz Anderson Museum Sale, Brookline, MA.

Blake Godbey

Blake, seen by many great people in the collector car industry at auctions since he was just a month old, watched his enthusiasm for collector cars grow throughout the years. He not only grew up in and around a classic car museum, but also in a classic car dealership environment as well. His love for the cars only grew, and stemmed into participating in the many functions involved in running these two businesses and broadening his knowledge as he went. Attending cars shows, auctions, and viewing collections for purchase, Blake has been exposed to and gained experience and a passion for collector cars from all genres, both foreign and domestic. Branching out with special interest, but definitely not limited to, Rolls- Royce, Bentley, Cadillac, and BMWs. He is involved with many different car clubs. He has forged great relationships with both collectors and dealers around the world, and is set on making sure he does his part to pass on the great integrity and spirit these incredible collector cars deserve, just as Worldwide Auctioneers prides itself on doing.

Car shows both new and classic, and reading dad's car magazines since the early 1960's, fueled Bob's passion for great cars and motor sports.

In addition to being a car guy, he has been a lifetime entrepreneur and self-employed since the age of 21 with a focus on retail and real estate primarily on the west coast and Texas. Growing up in Ohio, traveling throughout the Midwest and east coast to racing events and living in Texas and California, have given him a well-rounded understanding of the various car cultures that are rich with heritage and activity all over the country.
