Outstanding factory Triple Black 1970 Plymouth Hemi Cuda Convertible sets the tone for another high- paced Houston Classic Auction Weekend.

This year’s Houston Classic Auction Weekend looks set to be another classic. Worldwide Auctioneers, which this year celebrates its 10th Anniversary, will once again tempt buyers and collectors with an eclectic selection of great automobiles, from iconic American and European classics and sports cars, to a remarkable offering of significant American muscle cars. Chief among these are a selection of outstanding cars from the stable of renowned muscle car collector Phil Silva, including a superb factory Triple Black 1970 Plymouth Hemi Cuda Convertible, a factory documented four-speed 1969 Chevrolet Camaro L78 Convertible, a fully documented 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle LS6 Convertible and a rare 1970 Oldsmobile 442 W-30 Convertible, one of only sixteen documented four-speeds. “As with many of the remarkable cars we are proud to present at The Houston Classic Auction, these great cars offer a truly one of a kind opportunity to own something special. Any of the exceptionally noteworthy examples from this collection must be right at the top of any serious muscle car collector’s wish list”, said Rod Egan, Managing Partner & Chief Auctioneer.

Also included among the diverse and distinctive group of early consignments are a magnificent 1936 Pierce- Arrow Model 1602 Salon Twelve Convertible, one of only three built and two remaining examples, a completely restored and tour ready 1934 Bentley 3 ½ Litre Drop Head Coupe and a 1958 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz Convertible, the 2010 Cadillac La Salle National Best in Show winner.

The Houston Classic Auction Weekend takes place on Saturday, April 30th at The Lakewood Yacht Club in Seabrook, Texas and will once again run in conjunction with the Keels & Wheels Concours d’Elegance, which this year celebrates another anniversary—100 years of Indianapolis Racing. The latter is scheduled to run from April 30th through May 1st and represents the largest collection of classic automobiles and vintage wooden boats to be assembled together anywhere in the world.

Significant individual entries and collections to the Houston Classic Auction are still invited and may be discussed with Managing Partners Rod Egan and John Kruse or with any of the company’s Motorcar Specialists at 1.260.925.6789. Up to the minute information on consignment and event updates is available at and on Facebook, or by calling 800.990.6789, along with full details on schedules, bidder registration and admission.
